MBJ began as something
I needed for myself.

My Benefit Journal never started as a business. It started as my own resource book, a place to keep proofs I wanted to reference without searching through my bookshelf.

One day, I brought it to Arabic class. Someone asked to see it, and it got passed around the room. Three people asked if they could pay me to make one for them. I made those three, then decided to post it on Instagram.

I was flooded with orders. I was making the entire book myself, and it was a lot of work, but it was all worth it.

Over the years, MBJ released several different journals. We started selling stickers in January 2021, published on Amazon along the way, and eventually cracked the code on making sticker sheets.

What began as a resource for me grew into something I could share with other Muslimahs.
